Summer Shipping Policy (June - August)

Economy shipping: Not Available due to our products being heat sensitive.

Free Economy shipping: Not Available due to our products being heat sensitive.

USPS Priority shipping: We ship our heat-sensitive products Monday - Wednesday only. This keeps your temperature sensitive packages from sitting with USPS over the weekend. We will ship in warm weather protective packaging. Please make sure that someone is available to receive the package and take it to an air conditioned area. The shipping companies will leave a package on your porch if no one is home, however Swedish Godis Shop cannot be held responsible for melting when packages are left in this manner.

UPS 3-Day Select shipping: We ship our heat-sensitive products Monday - Tuesday only. This keeps your temperature sensitive packages from sitting with UPS over the weekend. We will ship in warm weather protective packaging. Please make sure that someone is available to receive the package and take it to an air conditioned area. The shipping companies will leave a package on your porch if no one is home, however Swedish Godis Shop cannot be held responsible for melting when packages are left in this manner.

 

Non-Summer Shipping Policy (September – May)

Economy shipping: All orders placed by noon eastern time will be processed within 24 hrs and shipped out within 48 hrs. 

Free Economy shipping: All orders placed by noon eastern time will be processed within 72 hrs and shipped out within 96 hrs.

Priority shipping: All orders placed by noon eastern time will be processed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after noon eastern time, will be processed and shipped on the next business day. 

Transit time does not include weekends or holidays and are estimates. Holidays, inclement weather, natural disasters, and other unforeseen delays rarely occur but can affect your delivery date. All packages ship from Charleston, South Carolina.

Shipping Policy for Refrigerated Food Items

We understand the importance of receiving your perishable food items fresh and in excellent condition. To ensure this, we ship all refrigerated food items using priority shipping and take the following precautions:

Packaging: Your food items are carefully packaged in a insulated manner using high-quality cold packs to keep your order at the proper temperature during transit.
Your package will be clearly labeled "PERISHABLE - KEEP REFRIGERATED" to ensure prompt handling by the carrier.

Shipping: We require priority shipping service to minimize transit time. We ship Monday and Tuesday to avoid weekend delays. 

Upon Receipt: Upon receiving your order, please inspect the packaging for any signs of damage. Immediately refrigerate your food items. 

NOTE: Once the package has been handed to shipping company, we are not responsible for any issues that may come about from shipping. Contact/visit the shipping company directly.

NOTE: We are not able to do anything more than see the tracking number you see once it leaves our store. 

NOTE: We are not responsible for any damage or delays caused by the shipping carrier. 

NOTE: We are not responsible for theft or missing packages if the tracking shows that the package has been delivered.

In the event that your order arrives damaged, spoiled or missing, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.
